Not, not that Day of the Dead. My fiancee and I are getting married on November 1st, which is El Día de los Muertos. Neither of us are Mexican or very much attached to the holiday (besides my unhealthy obsession with Grim Fandango), but it was a nice way of having the wedding near Halloween without being complete dorks. Plus, the future missus digs all that “everlasting love” crap that the skeleton bride and groom represent.
Anyway, just thought some of you might get a kick out of our Save the Dates that went out (and apparently confused some of our family members).
