Josh’s review of The Lincoln Lawyer: He digs it, and so did I. It’s a legal thriller, and if this was 1997 that wouldn’t be such a big deal. Nowadays, while we have about 82 legal shows on the air very few make it to theaters. It’s actually refreshing. Matthew McConaughey does a good job of reminding us why he’s a star.

My review of Limitless: I dig it. It has some flaws but Neil Burger’s film is smart, interesting, and at times almost great. Then it remembers that it’s only good and falls into some familiar patterns. It’s still a really good “March Film”. It’s not summer fare, but not some winter castoff either.

Kenny’s guest review of Paul: Kenny found it to be hit and miss. I tried to get to a screening but the first one overlapped with Source Code (which I had to see for my upcoming Duncan Jones interview) and the second one overlapped with Limitless (which I knew no one else would see). I plan on seeing it this weekend but frankly my expectations are pretty low. Nothing in Kenny’s review inspires much confidence. That said, Frost/Pegg/Rogen/Mottola is a powerful foursome.
