A bit of a brain teaser for you folks today, but don’t strain yourselves on this one as it’s a doozy! Below we’ve got two posters- one is for the original 1987 monster movie flick The Gate, and the other is from the upcoming Alex Winter-directed remake. Good luck!
Not much else to report on the remake yet. It was supposed to start shooting this summer in MMC Studios in Cologne, Germany, as the country’s first 3D live action film. More as we hear it.
For now read Nick’s review of The Gate on dvd and bump the rating up a few notches if you have fond childhood memories of watching a young Stephen Dorf deal with incredibly fucked-up and violent situations. Like watching his father’s face melt off in his hands.
