In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, I’d like to talk about TED, “a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading” and their annual conferences. Actually I haven’t much to say.I only learned about it recently because LXD was one of the speakers this year.Such a shame really, I feel like I should have known about it, but I seem to live in a bubble, so I don’t have access to the actual conferences other than through their excellent website. Oh, how I’d love to go!
But there is hope for me, for there are locally organized TED-like events called TEDx, and there seem to be plans for a TEDx Medellin. If it happens, I will blog the hell out of it.
Anyway, I wanted to publish this blog post mainly to share with my 3 readers some videos from TED. One is from philosopher Dan Dennett, the second one is from J.J. Abrams (yes, he talks about LOST), and the last one is from LXD (because I said I’d pimp them hardcore).
