If you live in LA or were planning a trip out here in the next two weeks, you might want to swing by the LA Film Festival, which has just landed both Christopher Nolan and Edgar Wright to speak, says THR.com’s Heat Vision. Nolan will be introducing Pink Floyd The Wall, which will be followed by a discussion with Elvis Mitchell. I’m not too surprised by a note in the article that states Nolan reportedly watched the film repeatedly while writing Inception.
Meanwhile, Wright will be gabbing with J.J. Abrams and will be showing clips from his upcoming Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Among others that will be in attendance include Kathryn Bigelow, who was named guest director for the festival; and Richard Kelly, Eli Roth and Adam Shankman will sit down during the
festival’s program Poolside Chat to talk about “The Power of the Tweet.”
Filmmakers, writers and actors, including Lalo Alcarez, Charles Burnett, Luke Davies, Jerry Stahl, dJay
Duplass, Mark Duplass and Gary Ross, Shohreh Aghdashloo, James
Cromwell and William Mapother will also be appearing at the festival in various capacities.
The LAFF runs from June 17th – 27th.
