The entrants are in for The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie!
DVD contest. The DVD is premiering on 4/20 and we’re giving away a copy to the contestants below. The object was to create an original animated character in the spirit of Drawn Together: a gross exaggeration, bad spoof,
mean-spirited caricature and profane homage of
existing cartoon characters from the entire spectrum of animation. The guidelines were as follows:
1. Character name.
2. Original cartoon character on which your character is based.
3. A 1-2 sentence description.
4. (Optional) If you’ve got the artistic or Photoshop skills and are so inclined, toss in a character design.
The character descriptions from the cartoon were used as a reference:
Princess Clara
– A pampered, hyper-religious, and racist princess who is a parody of
Disney princesses like Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Belle from
Beauty and the Beast.
Wooldoor Jebediah Sockbat
– A bizarre children’s show character in the mold of SpongeBob
SquarePants or Stimpy who displays many of the typical reality-defying
behaviors of Looney Tunes characters.
Foxxy Love – A sharp-tongued ghetto-parody of Valerie Brown from Josie and the Pussycats,
she is a promiscuous mystery-solving musician. Her name is an amalgam
of 1970s blaxploitation characters Foxy Brown and Christy Love.
Toot Braunstein
– An overweight alcoholic sex symbol from the 1920s reminiscent of
Betty Boop. Toot demands to be the center of attention, cuts herself
with razor blades when depressed, and often instigates conflict in the
house.
Ling-Ling – A homicidal spoof of Pikachu from the Pokémon
franchise, who battles using various supernatural powers/abilities
(reminiscent of anime) and speaks in pseudo-Japanese gibberish (or
“Japorean”, as Ling-Ling’s voice Abbey McBride calls it) with English
subtitles.
Xandir P. Wifflebottom – A hypersensitive, homosexual, overemotional, and effeminate parody of video game heroes like Link from The Legend of Zelda
series. The princess he was trying to rescue strongly resembles
Princess Zelda in her adult form. Xandir also wears a protective
shoulder plate similar to Cloud Strife of Final Fantasy.
Spanky Ham – A sex-obsessed, toilet humored, obnoxious parody of Internet Flash cartoon characters.
Captain Leslie Hero
– A chauvinistic, perverted, antiheroic and lecherous parody of
Superman and other superheroes, with a visual style taken from the
cartoons of Bruce Timm and Max Fleischer.

Character: EDDIE TWINKLE
Description: A mentally-challenged vampire wearing an undersized vampire costume, orange safety helmet and is inspired by Edward from Twilight. Eddie battles the monsters with his buck teeth that sprout instead of fangs, hypnotic stare that always gets the wrong people because of his cross eyes, but usually wins due to his accidental clumsiness in the spirit of Scooby-Doo.

Character: SPONGEBAMA SOCIALISTPANTS
Description: Spongebama is a cross between Spongebob and Schleprock from the Flintstone Kids. Poor Spongebama means well and all he really wants to do is make everyone happy but he was born under a raincloud that he just can’t shake. Despite all of his best efforts he ends up with mud on his face and all of his great plans to help everyone turn to crap. He’ll make you laugh so hard it hurts!

Description: Based on Jem and the Holograms. Conceited, egocentric, and demanding Tranny Rock Band that parodies Jem and the Holograms’ innocence.

Character: SPAZZATRON
Description: A conspiracy theorist, gambling problem robot that can change form into anything people tell him to change into. Spin off from Transformers and the Gobots (looks like cross between Leader 1 and Bumblebee from the 80’s cartoon and same size as a normal human), he thinks that the government made him to become a slave to society to morph at people’s will and also have a gambling problem.

Description: A CGI cartoon character inspired by a Transformer. Vibratron is a smooth-talking ladies man that speaks like Lando
Calrissian and is armed with a dual-charged, plasma firing photon
cannon. He also has the ability to transform into a vibrator.
