I am so excited about this. I don’t even care about the buzz or CGI or the fact they’re pushing the 3-D. I don’t care that many folks don’t care for Sam Worthington. I don’t care if Roger Ebert gives this movie “Fuck You out of Ten”…

It’s Clash of the Titans. It’s big. There are multitudes of monsters and Greek Gods and sweaty people being pulverized without remorse. Directed by the guy who had the good idea to have the Hulk kick Tim Roth across a campus. Frankly, if you don’t want to see this movie I don’t want to see you.

Folks in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Nashville are invited to join CHUD.com as we unload a promotional screening of this action adventure and I want people to make an effort to not just fire off a half-assed request as you are known to do.

You know who you are, people that forget to answer the question, just put your name and not your address, and the ones who post on the talkback thinking that has any bearing on anything. Considering the studio paid good money to rent the theater and print the tickets, we took the ample time to collect your names, sort them, and mail them to you on our dime… please give us a little effort for it. I mean, all you have to do is show up and have a good time.

Three easy questions. Try and answer them and provide your mailing address. Also, if you could, remind folks about us. We need to keep reminding people we exist. Traffic, baby!

Question One:

1. Which element of the original Clash of the Titans is most key in retaining for the remake? And don’t say Harryhausen’s work, because though I agree we live in reality and there’s no way in reality a studio would allow that to happen.

Question Two:

2. What would be a good porn spoof of Clash of the Titans?

Question Three:

3. If this is a hit, what other 80’s film of the genre would you like to see get another crack?

Atlanta

Charlotte

Nashville
