Whenever I see the word Micmac (which is 9 or 10 times a day tops) I think of Pet Sematary and its crawling kid corpses and disfigured older sisters. Whenever I see the title Micmacs A Tire-Larigot I think of despising other countries because I am not very well educated. My rough translation of the title yields me “The Indian Burial Mound Has a Flat”.
I may have missed something.
In actuality it’s the new Jean-Pierre Jeunet film and therefore of interest by sheer force of talent. The film is a comedy that takes a jab at the arms trade and features a lead character played by French comedian Dany Boon (as opposed to Craig Sheffer’s Boone) who walks around with a bullet in his dome.
That much I can tell from quick research and a look at the pretty but confusing (because I am very NOT French) new trailer over at Twitch.
I didn’t see a single cursed graveyard in the clip so I think this doesn’t adhere to the Stephen King canon.
Watch the extremely French trailer HERE.
