This being my first blog post, I figured I’d talk about something near and dear to me: food. I like to eat a lot, and in the past it’s been more of a bane for me, I gained quite a bit of weight that I’ve now put off. I’ve always had an affinity for Chinese food, and it’s just since this past Sunday that I’ve gotten into eating stir fry at this magnificent (and quite pricey) Chinese Buffet. I piled on slices of beef, noodles, and raw shrimp and had them fried up with soy sauce and lemon juice. VERY tasty. So tasty that the girlfriend and I went again today.
Now onto part II
In these trying economic times, it pays to save. I’ve been hitting the discount store, Big Lots a lot lately, and it’s turning out to be very generous to me. I can get bags of candy for $2, and best of all, they have a great selection of $2 and $3 movies. I’ve bought so many over the past few months that I’m going to have to get rid of some of them, as they were blind buys that didn’t really agree with me. Just this past Monday, I found that they’ve started selling 2 packs for $6 each or 2 for $10. I picked up Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind/Lost In Translation, and King Kong Vs. Godzilla/King Kong Escapes. Pretty damn good deals.
