Tested.com is the side project of Mythbusters Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, and they do really cool stuff. Movie geekery, tech reviews, interviews with filmmakers and other lovely people, and more. In this thirty-five minute video, make-up artist Frank Ippolito (POTC: Dead Man’s Chest, SyFy’s Face Off) shows us the process of creating a mold and using that mold to cast a lightsaber. Ippolito has also done some really cool work with Tested by creating a Zoidberg costume, and he’s got a podcast called Creature Geek you might enjoy.
