It may look a little like a stop-motion set (I’d imagine because it’s a model within the real hotel?) but this one-sheet announces the coming We Anderson film, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
I’m among those that find Fantastic Mr. Fox to be Anderson’s most accomplished work, with the more recent Moonrise Kingdom coming in a very close second. The man’s work just seems to get better as his aesthetic instincts mature along with his storytelling. This is why I’m so excited for Grand Budapest Hotel, which features his most impressive cast yet, and has said to be targeting the feel of a Ernst Lubitsch film.
