Even when a book has been successful enough to merit an adaptation to the big screen, that doesn’t mean filmmakers and executies are always sold on the original title. Taking a look through this gallery from ShyStone of modified film posters reminds us that many great movies are retitled adaptations, and that occasionally the new titles are for the better and sometimes they’re not.
