I am LOLing right now. I keep looking at the new Speed Racer photos that USA Today has premiered and I keep LOLing as I wonder what the hell the Wachowski Bros are up to with this movie. Why is Emile Hirsch dressed like Tron? Is Speed Racer on one of the tracks from Super Mario Kart? Does the stances of Pops, Spridle and Chim Chim indicate that the monkey is a blood relative to the Racer clan?
The pictures are pretty weird and trippy, and I must admit that they have given me more of a curiosity to see what’s happening here than anything that has come before. We should be getting a trailer shortly, and I can’t wait to see this drug soaked madness in motion.
