Leave it to ILM to make a VFX reel that’s pretty much as awesome as watching the sequences themselves. A blazing journey through a few key digital constructions and then the assembly of the big climactic battle shot, it’s a blast to watch. Here’s the secret to it being so much more fun to watch than most VFX breakdowns: sound effects. Just a protip y’all.
This, of course, comes on the heels of the team’s nomination for an Oscar for best VFX.
