Tobe Hooper Bio
Little Kevin Riddle was a normal kid from a small Texas town. Normal, that is, until he watched his oilman father brutally murder his mother and then witnessed his father’s own dissolution by some unseen force. Now Kevin’s all grown up and he’s gotta find a way to stop "The Damned Thing" before it wipes out everyone in town. Damn malevolent forces, always fucking shit up for the small-towners.
Masters of Horror keeps rolling on as Tobe Hooper steps behind the camera for this installment. Even though this concept has been done before (several times), it still has the potential to be a solid little episode.

Under the Skin: Doug Bradley on Hellraiser
A husband and wife move into an old house and discover the husband’s half-brother (also the wife’s former affair) hiding upstairs, having lost his earthly body to the Pinhead and his crew. He forces her to keep him stocked in human sacrifices and such to rebuild his body (one of the best effects in this rebuilding process is the whole Skinless Frank thing) – which pisses the Cenobites off. Shit goes down, demons get grumpy, people get their flesh ripped off. The usual.
One of the seminal gore flicks. If “torture porn” was a legitimate sub-genre (it’s not) this would have been the movie that started it. It put Clive Barker on the Horror Map and made Pinhead and his Cenobites icons along with the Freddys and Jasons of the world. And if a great movie isn‘t sufficient, this stacked edition should be more than enough to convince you to pick it up.

The Making of Dream Cruise
After a big childhood trauma, attorney Jack Miller spends his adult life with a crippling fear of the water. However, after starting a dangerous affair with the wife of a client, he agrees to go on a cruise with the couple in an effort to be near her. Obviously shit hits the fan.
Another Masters of Horror release, Dream Cruise brings J-Horror workman Norio Tsuruta to the helm. This isn’t his first American directing gig, but with only a few direct-to-dvd gigs under his stateside belt, this should be a good look at a director making a big step in his transition to American glory. Plus, the Ocean is scary as shit in and of itself – so any effort to capitalize on that automatically gets the interest piqued.
