More or less confirming info that we’ve known for over a month, Reuters ran an article this morning saying that Mad Max director George Miller is ‘in talks’ to head up Warner Brothers’ Justice League flick. Actually, the article calls him the Happy Feet director, which is true in some respect, but is also revisionist bullshit. We all know the truth.
Also discussed is the fact that Bale and Routh will most likely not step into the capes as their respective stand-alone characters, as WB wants to keep the franchises seperate. Confirming more known facts is the released stable of characters, which includes Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, the Flash and Green Lantern and the Martian Manhunter.
The obvious question: will Batman and Superman be relegated to chunky cameos, or will they be written in as full participants?
Plans call for the film to roll in Australia and if this is intended to be a pre-strike picture, WB had better get a-casting.
