# 95 – The One
It was then that Hong knew he shouldn’t have eaten the second helping of magnet pie.
The One:
This surprisingly fun Jet Li actioner features many great fight scenes, but very few good deaths. The one exception, however, being one of the most creative murders in film history. Li’s evil alter ego, Yulaw, has just hijacked an ambulance and recently sent Delroy Lindo to that great showing of Crooklyn in the sky. Then two motorcycle cops show up. Our super villian isn’t bothered by this as he easily dismounts the wheeled lawmen. He then picks up the two motorcycles, wielding them like massive gloves, and smacks the cops into oblivion as if they were mere flies. It has to be seen to be believed. (S.M.)
