Finally, something cool and infuriating, all at the same time! The cool part: Kellogg’s is running a tie-in with Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man wherein you can aim your smartphone at specially marked Kellogg’s and Keebler products to unlock clips from the upcoming film. Below are the first two clips that have been unlocked. The infuriating part: the below clips I’ve included are 100% buttcam quality.
The first clip in particular is pretty neat, I like the Impact Webbing that Parker seems to be slinging. Impact Webbing is something that, like the Ben Reilly-esque costume, owes its origins to the comic book’s oft-maligned Clone Saga of the nineties. Interesting where director Marc Webb is mining some of his visuals from.
