Voldemort, you snake-faced bastard! The first teaser poster for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* has been loosed upon the world (below!), and it makes it look like things are going to be pretty dark for our heroes this time around. Actually, if you’ve read the book you know that things get very, very, very dark for our heroes, and that not all of our favorite characters make it out the other side of this one alive. The last Harry Potter film ended up with a PG-13 rating – I can’t imagine this one getting anything less.
This is only part of the good news, by the way. There’s going to be a trailer for this film in front of Happy Feet this weekend, which means it should be on the web anytime now. I can’t wait to see what they’re going to reveal, and if the trailer will contain any footage of the epic, climactic final battle.
And is it just me or can you totally see sleeve of wizard in this picture?
*I cannot spell Phoenix. I always transpose the O and the E. This movie is going to be my spell check’s nightmare for the next nine months.
