REX MACHINA: When a spaceship crashes near the King’s castle, a group of his best knights are dispatched to investigate, returning days later, infected with a bizarre techno-organic virus that seizes complete control of its host, making them an unwilling servant of some greater extraterrestrial hive mind. The machine virus quickly spreads among the local populace, until even the King himself is transformed into some sort of mindless automaton. Before long, most of the kingdom has fallen prey to this body-snatching bio-mechanical menace, leaving the fate of the realm in the hands of a rogue knight who’s been locked away in the castle dungeon. Enlisting the aide of a beautiful young thief who’s seemingly immune to the infection, the knight struggles to raise an army to combat this evil from beyond the stars.
