Most folks here have a very strong opinion on Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody. Audiences have a strong opinion as well, as their first collaboration Juno was a huge hit. Justifiably so. Despite “Honest to blog” and the backlash, it’s a great flick.

Since then, Reitman did the lovely Up in the Air and Cody unearthed Jennifer’s Body and The United States of Tara. They’ve teamed up on Young Adult, a tale of a woman (Charlize Theron, who seems to be having fun for a change) who hasn’t grown up returning to her hometown to reclaim past glory. The trailer’s at the bottom of this article.

Patton Oswalt and Patrick Wilson co-star, and the legendary JK Simmons appears.
