From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

365 days of Sci-Fi Archive

And now… DAY THREE-HUNDRED AND TWELVE:

“I just love treasure hunt movies, don’t you?  And wouldn’t it be cool to get a little Indiana Jones mixed with Star Wars?  Two great tastes that would go great together.”

– Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“No Place Like Home.”

THIRD WORLD: Abandoned centuries ago after becoming environmentally unstable and incapable of continuing to support human life, the Earth has since become a galactic ghetto, home to the dregs of the universe and those unfortunate few who literally have no place else to go.  This is where we meet our young protagonist and part-time Earthy antiquities dealer, Skym, a young scavenger who salvages what he can from the wreckage of our planet… until he accidentally stumbles upon a lost treasure that’s more valuable than anything in all the known worlds… and ultimately more dangerous.

Nick Says: I’d settle for a nice robust Spacehunter clone.
