I wanted to occasionally share some of the fruits of my time at film school and now is as good a time as any. It’s kind of a thin premise for a blog but tomorrow will be back up to snuff. I’ll be seeing Mongol and The Fall tomorrow, so I should have some good material from that. To be honest, besides a fun experience with Zohan, it’s been a thin few days movie-wise (a lot of focus on the badass draft we’ve got going).
What follows is not entirely a project from a class but is adapted from one. The two linked clips, part 1 and II, (which together are about 3 minutes long) are motion-animated picture slide-shows. The pictures were taken for a beginning project in a film class and I later motion tracked them and added music.
This is Gumby’s Big Adventure. It’s about Gumby attempting to try out an iPod and the epic obstacles in his way. Enjoy!
(I tried to embed them, but it didn’t work out.)
