The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
is one of my most anticipated films this year. The teaser trailer is out now,
and it tells me that I’m right to be excited.
The teaser emphasizes a melancholy bleakness that I find
most interesting in Westerns, and it doesn’t include any action at all. And with
just a few lines, Casey Affleck convinced me that he’s right for the part and
can possibly hold his own against Brad Pitt.
