I won’t lie to you – I want you to go see Running Scared this weekend. I think it’s a blast of a film, a fun, intense, insane movie that will become a serious cult classic. We’ll be featuring some Running Scared coverage this week, including exclusive interviews with star Paul Walker and director Wayne Kramer, in the hopes of getting your appetite whetted for this one.
Today we’re happy to bring you a comic book adaptation of the film’s first six minutes. That footage has been available online, but because of the intense violence of the scene, New Line has placed it behind some age-verification measures. If you’re like me and don’t want to jump through hoops just to prove you’re old enough to see R-rated footage, this comic is for you.
We also have two passes for people in LA and Orange County. All you have to do is click here to download the LA version in PDF and here to download the Orange County version. You download, print it out, and show up at the theater Thursday night for the free preview- simple as that. Be aware that lots of people will be downloading these passes, though, so you may want to get to the theater early.
