For the next 30 days I’ll torture you with my stupid answer to the writing prompts taken from the 30 Day Writing Challenge and the 30 Day Song Challenge. Here we go:
Writing Challenge – Day 5: Something in life that gives you balance.
Rain is a great source of balance for me. The heavier the better, particularly if it comes with crazy thunder and spooky wind. I find it a bit silly how culturally predisposed we all are to believe that rain is BAD, sort of like how women are predisposed to believe that our wedding day is the most important day of our lives: pure archaic silliness. Rain slows people down. It forces them to have a quiet moment, and hopefully enjoy it as well. At least, I do.
Music also gives me balance, because I can always find a tune to match, enhance, or counteract a particular mood. It’s like adding a soundtrack to life. Makes life a lot more bearable.
Song Challenge – Day 05: A song that reminds you of someone.
I don’t have a song that reminds me of a single person. Oh man…
Here’s my copout song, courtesy of the iTunes shuffle button. Reminds me of something I desperately need to do…
