Over the past year I have been working on handing the ownership and financial reins of CHUD.com over to new company and I’m glad to say that it’s finally all done and official. Bigfoot Entertainment is the majority owner of CHUD.com. Bigfoot’s a fresh new independent entertainment company with reach in the film school world, filmmaking world, modeling world, and movie theater world and a fun company just beginning to reach out there to the masses. Based in Asia, it’s a fun group of folks who have made it possible for us folks to continue bringing the Sewer to you without interruption. As many of you know, it’s been a rough stretch for the site, but we’re through it now and hope to focus on doing what we do best: Being jerks.
How it’ll affect you in your regular visiting is minimal. We’ll be adding a Bigfoot Portal to the site so “Mr. Bigfoot” himself can share with you fun stuff in their world. But otherwise I’ll continue to be running CHUD (and GUYcom, which is a wholly Bigfoot owned site) as I see fit. Some of you will be happy about that and others will grumble!
Either way, it’s good news and it’ll be nice to have the ability for them to share what they’ve got cooking and allow us to cover movies and be a happy family. And it’ll allow me to focus on writing, which I need to be doing.

Bigfoot Entertainment Acquires Cult Film Website CHUD.com

LOS ANGELES – May 19, 2011 – Bigfoot Entertainment Inc. is now the chief financial backer of www.CHUD.com, a website chronicling the latest news and events in the film industry, after a year-long effort of laying the foundation for the merger. As CHUD.com’s main supporter, Bigfoot, an international production company that develops films for the global marketplace, will further the site’s development and expand its presence in the film industry. The site receives nearly 600,000 unique visitors per month.

Short for “Cinematic Happenings Under Development,” CHUD.com focuses on in-depth reviews of recently released films, and interviews of actors, actresses, directors and other industry notables. It also provides news, rumors and scoops on upcoming projects and has one of the most robust communities on the net. As part of the agreement, CHUD.com will become a conduit for Bigfoot’s projects, with plans for a dedicated portal on the site’s homepage, which will link to information about its films, companies, acquisitions, film schools and other ongoing initiatives.
