Noah Baumbach was already somebody when The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (which he co-wrote) opened, because his Kicking and Screaming
was quite a good flick. With the Wes Anderson collaboration, he became
part of something unique in Hollywood. A truly fresh and fun creative
arsenal, one which will surely yield more fruit, especially if his The Squid and the Whale is as good as people are saying.

slightly autobiographical tale about Baumbach’s own childhood, the film
