From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

And now… DAY EIGHTY-SIX:

“While wondering what it might be like to mix E.T. with ER, I stumbled onto this little number, which I think could be a cleverly clumsy new way into the alien invasion genre.”

– Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“Health Care Just Went Universal.”

Pitch:

Stationed on the front lines of an all-out alien invasion, members of an elite mobile army hospital struggle to treat soldiers and civilians alike, wounded in battle against monolithic invaders from another world. Amidst the chaos of war, one young doctor discovers the enemy’s only weakness.  But when he and his comrades are attacked and cut-off from the rest of their unit, they must embark on a perilous mission to regroup with the others and deliver this vital intelligence. Meanwhile, the fate of all mankind hangs in the balance.

Nick Says: This would totally work. It’d totally be a success. Totally.
