And now… DAY FOURTY-FIVE:
“I love my daughters beyond words, and not just because they’re my kids, but because they’re just so damned awesome. At the tender ages of four and seven, they’re already getting their geek on, equally as interested in Disney Princesses as they are in Star Wars, superheroes,monsters, zombies, robots, you name it. My youngest has a particular fascination with vampires. One time, when a little boy came over fora play date, she pointed to the drainage grate in our garage and casually informed him, “That’s where we keep the dead people.” I mean, how cool is that? The boy’s parents didn’t think so, but still… Anyway, today’s monster movie mash-up is in honor of daddy’s girls everywhere, each and every one a princess in their own right.”

Pitch:
To avenge himself against the Princess who spurned his affections, an evil Necromancer conjures a mysterious fog that envelops the land, plunging the entire kingdom in impenetrable darkness, within which lurk devilish creatures beyond imagining. Only the Princess’ hand in marriage will lift the curse, so the King finds himself faced with a terrible decision. But before he can make his choice, the Princess takes things into her own hands, escaping into the fog with her trusted handmaidens and a brave young knight who’s loved the Princess from afar since he was just a boy. They fight their way through hordes of mist-dwelling monstrosities, culminating in a climactic confrontation in which the Princess and the knight work together to turn the Necromancer’s own foul magic against him.
Nick Says: Here’s one that would benefit from a hard R. A lusty tale of adventure, indeed. Kudos to whomever casts Amy Acker in a role that will define her for another decade.
