From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

365 days of Sci-Fi Archive

And now… DAY THIRTY-SEVEN:

“You may or may not be aware that there’s a little known subgenre of sci-fi stories about people who are granted extraordinary abilities because of a bullet lodged in their brain.  I’ve always found these stories fascinating and have wanted to write one for some time, a really juicy one, something that could elevate the genre and stand out amongst all the classics.  This is not that story.”

– Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“What he doesn’t see can hurt you.”

Pitch:

When a hostage crisis devolves into a shooting spree, one of the survivors is left with a bullet fragment lodged in his brain, threatening his life while also granting him the uncanny ability to see into another dimension – a parallel universe that exists just out of phase with our own, inhabited by nightmarish creatures that feed on human suffering.  Using his unique new ability, the man battles the unseen forces of evil constantly threatening our world.
