From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

365 days of Sci-Fi Archive

And now… DAY TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT:

“Growing up, I always wished I was more of a car guy.  Even now, my wife recognizes the make and model of cars before I do, which can be a little bit embarrassing.  Then again, I can recite every line in Star Wars and tell you the secret identities of almost all of the Marvel superheroes.  Wait… that might actually be more embarrassing.  Never mind.”

“Driven to Extremes.”

DOOM BUGGY: Jake Riley is a man with a dark past heading down a bad road, until his uncle dies, bequeathing Jake his most prized possession – an old busted up dune buggy.  Spending his summer fixing it up, figuring he can make a few honest bucks for a change, Jake soon discovers that not only does the old heap have a mind of its own, but it also has the uncanny ability to drive Jake to places where some sort of catastrophe is about to happen, giving the young man a chance to make up for past wrongs by preventing future disasters before they occur.

Nick Says: I love this. So great. And so cute!
