From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

365 days of Sci-Fi Archive

And now… DAY TWO HUNDRED AND ONE:

“Doing a lot of driving today, and in L.A. that’s always a recipe for frustration… so rather than risk the inevitable road rage encounter, I figured I’d pull into this Starbucks and share a little rush hour inspiration instead.”

– Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“On the road of life, one good turn deserves another.”

DEATH TOLL: Somewhere off turnpike 12, halfway between this place and that, is a tollbooth operator named Henry Miller – Hank to his friends.  There’s nothing especially special about Hank, aside from his uncanny knowledge of baseball statistics, an amazing buffalo chili recipe (chocolate is the secret ingredient)… and an inordinate number of near death experiences that have somehow granted him the ability to predict with incredible accuracy how and when others will die.  So, if you happen to be traveling along turnpike 12, on the way to this place or that, and you also happen to be on your way to meet your maker, stop by and give old Hank a visit.  With a little luck, maybe he can help you take an unexpected detour.

Nick Says: Very King-y! I love it.
