From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

365 days of Sci-Fi Archive

And now… DAY ONE-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-NINE:

“It’s been too long since we’ve seen aliens fucking up the White House.  Don’t you think?”

– Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“One Nation Under Siege”

ALTERED STATE: When a localized meteor shower turns out to be a concentrated extraterrestrial attack, Washington D.C. suddenly finds itself cut off from the rest of the U.S. as strange otherworldly machines begin terraforming the entire state, turning what was once the nation’s capital into a bizarre alien landscape. Together with a group of specialized marines trained to deal with extreme terrorist threats, a group of scientists venture past the quarantine zone surrounding Washington in hopes of finding some way to prevent the invaders from terraforming the rest of the planet.

Nick Says: I love your tagline… but for once we could have had “It’s Terror Forming!” as a tagline and I could have died a happy man. Instead I’m just loving this one rather than wanting to put its dick in me.
