From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

365 days of Sci-Fi Archive

And now… DAY ONE-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FOUR:

“When you’re desperately in need of a bad movie pitch and only have a few minutes before your next meeting to come up with one, supernatural body swapping comedies are always a great fallback.”

“He’s Come a Long Way, Baby!”

WHAT THE HEX?: When an arrogant playboy stands up his dinner date, he finds out the hard way that she’s not just some girl… she’s a witch.  So, the following morning, he magically awakens in the body of a plain Jane librarian desperately looking for companionship, and must help her find true love if he’s to remove the curse and return to his former self, which is now inhabited by the dejected witch woman who’s making it her personal mission in life to tear his apart.  Dozens of bad dates, awkward encounters and one pregnancy scare later, the man finally learns humility by experiencing what it’s like to walk in the fairer sex’s shoes.  Along the way, he finds true love in the form of an adopted child, and is thus released from his curse to go in search of the plain Jane so he too might someday be loved in return.

Nick Says: This will be made with Matthew McConaughey in six days. Thanks Andy.
