“No Power, No Glory”
HERO ZERO: This is the story of a superhero, the Crimson Comet, who is suddenly faced with a rare and incurable disease that robs enhanced beings of their superhuman abilities. As various medical treatments fail, the Comet begins to lose his powers a little bit at a time. Soon, he finds himself locked in the body of an aging 30-something accountant, confined to the painfully ordinary life of his secret identity, Joseph Small. Stripped of his superhero status and abilities, Joe has trouble coping with newfound feelings of impotency and depression. Consequently, even the “normal” life he’d carved out for himself begins to unravel, until Joe is left with nothing — no sexy reporter girlfriend, no secret hideout, no fancy car, nothing. But as fate would have it, a mugging following a meeting of Heroes Anonymous leads Joe to the discovery that the disease he and the others are suffering from is actually an insidious plot masterminded by the super villain underworld. But can this misfit group of un-superheroes defeat the world’s greatest evil doers and get their powers back before it’s too late for them and the rest of humanity. Stay tuned, true believer!
Nick Says: You certainly have a much more glass is half full mentality. Which I guess is why you’re successful. Though I disagree that we need more superheroes, I’m sold if we can finally convince Liev Schreiber to appear in a low rent flick.
