From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

And now… DAY ONE-HUNDRED AND THIRTY-SIX:

“Nothing like a little weird science to get the week started off right.”

– Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“It IS Rocket Science.”

THE TESLA FILE: The story revolves around the discovery of a lost manuscript from Nikola Tesla detailing a number of incredible new/old inventions and scientific discoveries, many of which still marvel even by today’s standards. As the manuscript goes through the grueling authentication process, garnering all sorts of public and private demand, some of its contents are leaked and one of the enigmatic equations draws unwanted attention.  The scientists working on the authentication are killed, the manuscript is stolen, and only our hero (the person who uncovered the manuscript) manages to survive, in possession of a very important piece of information — the Tesla File is a forgery.  Our hero now has to track down the person responsible for the creating it and help to unravel the conspiracy before he and others are murdered.

Nick Says: I really, REALLY hope that the twist doesn’t involve Five Man Acoustical Jam.
