From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you’ve probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the “so bad, they’re good” films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby’s 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it’s all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch — the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he’s at or what he’s doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That’s a whole year of the quality concepts you’ve come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS.

365 days of Sci-Fi Archive

And now… DAY ONE-HUNDRED AND TWO:

“Someone made a joke on twitter about the IRON EAGLE movie and this crazy idea popped into my head.  I blame it on bad upbringing and that cheesy Molly Hatchet t-shirt my mom brought home from the second hand store when I was a kid.  That’ll make more sense when you read what’s below.”

– Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“Let Your Spirit Soar.”

Pitch:

IRON-ON EAGLE – While wearing the tattered blue jean jacket his mom bought for him at the Salvation Army, a young boy is attacked by a sex predator, who would have quickly overpowered him if not for the powers bestowed by the jacket’s mystical iron-on eagle patch, which grant the wearer the extraordinary attributes of a mythological Native American bird spirit.  With his newfound abilities, the boy goes on to become a crime fighting legend, adding more patches to his magical jacket, each granting him some new and ever more interesting power.

Nick Says: Fucking adorable. And a perfect idea for the youth of today who are used to life improvement by way of achievements. God damn, Rory Culkin is going to own this role.
