Casting for the remake of Wes Craven’s classic The Hills Have Eyes has pretty much finished, and director Alexadre Aja (the fine hand behind High Tension, a movie I guess only I liked) has gotten himself some pretty good people. In the interest of it being 2 AM by me and I am sleepy, here is the list of folks:
Aaron Stanford (X-Men‘s Pyro) will play Doug Wood,
Vanessa Shaw will play his wife Lynne (he’s old enough to have a wife?)
Ted Levine will be awesome as always playing Big Bob Carter
Kathleen Quinlan will be Ethel Carter
Lost‘s Emilie de Ravin will be Brenda Carter
Dan Byrd is Bobby Carter
Robert Joy is Lizard
Billy Drago and Tom Bower will be in it, but I have no idea who they will play. In fact, I have no idea who the hell any of these characters are. It’s nice to see de Ravin continuing the Lost actor tradition of appearing in a low budget horror movie over break. Don’t these people get real offers?
By the way, I saw The Devil’s Rejects tonight and Michael Berryman is in it. He’s looking rough.
