Did you get the chance yet to read my top 20 movies of 2010? In it, I was as honest as possible as to which movies stayed with me the most, rather than which movies might make me sound coolest or most sophisticated.
But how did I arrive at that list of twenty?
Well, I did the math. I counted up all the movies I saw in 2010 – all the ones that were released theatrically; big distinction. Then I plucked out the ones that meant the most to me. I liked more than twenty movies – as I noted when introducing the list, it was a good movie year for me – but I had to cut it off somewhere. (Of course, there were nearly as many that I didn’t like, but let’s not dwell in the grouchy place.)
By my reckoning, I saw 90 of all the movies that were released in 2010. I know, right? When did I have time to go to the bathroom? Not only that, but I reviewed around 60 of them. For those who may be interested (God bless you), I have listed those movies and linked to the reviews.
