The Online Film Critics Society has just released their nominations for their awards. I’d offer up some takes on what will and what should win, but since my movie-going participation has been pathetic at best this year, I’ll leave it up to you fine folks to haggle over the predictions. The awards will be announced on January 3rd.
On a side note, they probably should get a nickname for their awards. Something catchy like the “OFCSies” or the “Onlinies”. Ooh, how about the OFSCars? Nah, probably run into copyright infringement or something. If they changed their name to the Society of Online Film Critics, they could go with the “Softies”. But considering how some online film critics are perceived by Hollywood, that might not be exactly appropriate…. Anyway, the full nomination list is below.
