If Wedlock and Battle Royale are good indicators, one of the best ways to make friends is to wear matching explosive collars. Rarely does this scenario backfire. Fallout: New Vegas reiterates this with the upcoming Dead Money DLC, which introduces The Courier to a cadre of friends:

Fallout is no stranger to explosive collars or vault heists. This makes Dead Money seem a bit conventional for the series, but developer Obsidian knows well enough how to write a good story-driven mission, so we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Dead Money is volume one of New Vegas’ DLC offerings, so prepare to pad the already massive quest list with more stuff in the coming months.
