Indeed. Welcome on my TV, on a movie screen, on a magazine cover, and of course the occasional lurid fantasy. She’s one of these rare hot chicks that’s equally adept at drama and comedy and isn’t afraid of genre fare at all. It’s not that hard to picture her charming a giant ubiquitous alien slug or being the reason that Russell Crowe is going to stage a prison break. And forget that whole striking Mary Jane thing, I think what alien-Spidey-suited Peter Parker is going to regret most of all is that he didn’t capitalize on that Betty Brant situation when he had the chance.
The latest project Banks is joining is the upcoming Chris Pine flick, Welcome to People, says THR. The film follows a man who must deliver $150,000 in cash to an
alcoholic sister he didn’t know he had after the death of their father.
Without telling her who he is, the guy also gets involved in the life
of her angry 12-year-old son. Pine is rejoining his Star Trek cohorts, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who wrote the script with Joy Lambert and who are also producing. Kurtzman is directing and Amy Adams, Rachel McAdams and Meryl Streep co-star.
Banks will next be seen in the upcoming The Next Three Days and will re-team with Tobey Maguire in The Details. She’s currently filming My Idiot Brother with Paul Rudd, Zooey Deschanel and Rashida Jones for Summit.
