I
think we all need at least one really nice positive thing about the
entertainment business every single day of the year, including weekends.
Sometimes it may be something simple, like a video that showcases
something fun and sometimes it may be a movie poster that embraces the
aesthetic we all want Hollywood to aspire to. Sometimes it may be a
long-winded diatribe. Sometimes it’ll be from the staff and extended
family of CHUD.com. Maybe even you readers can get in on it. So, take
this to the bank. Every day, you will get a little bit of positivity
from one column a day here. Take it with you. Maybe it’ll help you
through a bad day or give folks some fun things to hunt down in their
busy celluloid digesting day.

Let’s say you were watching an old western on TV and you saw, oh I don’t know, Chuck Connors. So you’re sitting there thinking to yourself “hey, I wonder what ol’ Rifleman is up to these days”…

SOLVED!

Looks like Chuck has plans, which is too bad. Not only was he in the army during WWII, he was also one of only 12 people to have ever played in both the NBA and Major League Baseball. As an actor he was typecast as a gun-wielding tough guy, thanks to roles like TV’s The Rifleman, leading to Stephen King modeling his character of Roland in the Dark Tower series after him.

It’s no secret these days that Harry Houdini is dead, so naturally you’d want to know all about his humble burial…

Now THAT’S a grave! If you’re wandering around and get tired, no sweat: just plop down on Harry’s bench and rest your magician feet.

Surely you would’ve read about Chief Ten Bears in school, the man who was the leader of the Ketahto (“Don’t Wear Shoes”) tribe? He was depicted in Eastwood’s The Outlaw Josy Wales, in case you were wondering. So where is he today?

Ham’s victorious mission into space was a huge boon for the American space program, and without it the ’69 Moon landing may never have taken place.

Their searchable categories – such as Royalty, Magicians and Entertainers – are a great tool in helping you find the ones you need.
