Namco Bandai just sent over these quite G-rated screens for the upcoming Splatterhouse, to show you how friendly of a guy Rick Taylor is when he puts that mask on. He likes to solve his problems through honest debate over a cup of tea, fresh-baked scones on the side covered with just the perfect amount of honey. He sure loves having company over for tea, ol’ Rick.
Yeah, so these screens were created to show off the some of the gameplay variety (or variety of ways you can pulverize enemies, at least)- the crazier, more stark ones are from Rick’s Berzerker mode, and note the side-scrolling section below that looks quite familiar to fans of the series.
Really looking fun as hell- can’t wait to get my hands on this.
They’ve also finally confirmed the Splatterhouse soundtrack, full of some truly brutal metal that should mesh together nicely with the game. Can’t you picture Max Cavalera bellowing “WE MUST KILL” while you’re splattering enemies all over the room?
