  • Robin Hood wasn’t a movie that I wanted to bomb. I was fucking stoked for the release and I was telling everyone that this was going to be different. Ridley Scott was going to rediscover his directing talent and craft a tale about Medieval England that worked. What we got was about 15 minutes of action and the Democracy Skit from Monty Python and The Holy Grail. I would start my rather lengthy fuck you essay to Scott/Crowe, but I’m saving that for the Blu-Ray review. If you have a Blockbuster left open in your neighborhood, I’d recommend a rental before a purchase. While it does look amazing in the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack, it’s still a turd.

Modern Family took awhile to get going for me. I had stopped caring about any ABC show that didn’t involve Jorge Garcia and I didn’t see that changing. Then, they offered up Ed O’ Neill. I’m a huge Married with Children and I’ve followed the once and future Bundy through a variety of failed television offerings. What followed was a hit and miss affair that made smile more times than it didn’t. Kobe Bryant shows up to take Middle America’s minds off the gays and their baby. There’s also a few Latinos to cater to that demographic, while a few choices jokes slip in.

  • 30 Rock marched into its fourth season with a drop in the ratings. What it did do was take the focus further away from Tina Fey until the whole romantic subplot slid back into play. Where the fourth year soared was when the focus stayed on Alec Baldwin and his quest for better pussy. Elizabeth Banks and Julianne Moore spent half of the year making the world see Liz Lemon as a hairy little troll. But, it wasn’t a battle of looks. When you place two capable female leads with charming personalities against a Liz Lemon, the troll gets blown off the map. There’s also the fact that Julianne Moore is wicked hot with that Foxboro MILF look she was rocking. James Franco also appears with a Japanese pillow fuck buddy. Franco failed to secure an Emmy nomination for his efforts.

American Beauty gets unfairly shat on because it curb-stomped The Insider for its Best Picture Oscar. I don’t really care, as American Beauty was the better film. The Insider didn’t offer up any tits and it was boring shit that partially took place where I lived. American Beauty took us to a fantasy world where a teenage girl would try to seduce Kevin Spacey. Hell, Spacey even looked at Mena Suvari’s tits without flinching. I’m not going to say anything that could get me sued, but that’s world class acting on Lex Luthor’s part. That being said, Thora Birch has an amazing fucking rack. It looks even better in glorious 1080p and matching lossless audio. This weekend, I flipped my television to 120mhz and let visitors watch Thora Birch’s stand at a window and expose herself to Wes Bentley. My context is my context, bitches.
