THR.com has an announcement that Katie Holmes is joining the upcoming Adam Sandler / Al Pacino film titled Jack and Jill. The synopsis: In the film, Jack, a family man, deals with his twin sister, Jill,
when she visits for Thanksgiving then won’t leave.______ Holmes would play Sandler’s wife; Pacino is set to play
himself. The article then goes on to mention that Holmes hasn’t been in a studio film since Batman Begins; and also throws some quick love and a link to the trailer for Nick’s Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, which is swell of them. It rounds things out in typical trade fashion by announcing the planned shoot time (October), who’s producing (Sandler and Happy Madison partner Jack
Giarraputo with Todd Garner), and Holmes’ management team. All well and good.
You may have noticed that there’s a blank spot in the highlighted section.. It’s the aforementioned sentence in the title of this article. It’s the sentence that guarantees I will not be seeing this: Sandler will
play both characters. Reposition this sentence back in the blank spot and you have Adam Sandler cross-dressing. And me doing something else when it premieres.
