Mark Romanek’s highly anticipated new film Never Let Me Go has debuted a few characters posters (collected by the always excellent IMP Awards) before the movie hits TIFF and gets a small release on the 15th of September. Ultra-grainy, with smearing colors, the one-sheets highlight the cast specifically, and give little away about the movie itself (you can click on the ones above to make them super-huge). The broken up title should allow for some theater worker’s fun though.

The film is based on book of the same name and carries with it a distinct aura of mystery. This may be one of those films that works best when you walk in with as little context as possible. Romanek directed One Hour Photo, which I found effective and moody, if not fully realized. As Josha says in our new How’s My Fall Lookin’ September Preview, “[Romanek is] working with great material, and a solid cast, so it is his to fuck up.”
