Devin recently brought you the first pic of Hank Azaria as Gargamel for The Smurfs Movie. Now THR.com has the first look at the little blue buggers themselves. Wikipedia has the synopsis as: After the evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria) chases the Smurfs out of their village, they tumble out of their magical world into the middle of Central Park in New York. They must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.
From this angle of the pic, Papa Smurf is coming off more like a garden gnome. Since he’s in New York, maybe he’ll try and bag a Travelocity commercial or something.
