A few years ago, I was on a flight to Los Angeles from Dallas. During this flight I was seated next to a young boy. Among his various items, he had a book entitled Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The boy was extremely nice offering me a chance to not only play on his PSP, but to also let me read the book. He spoke over and over about how much he loved the book and how funny it was. I read through a little bit of it, mostly to appease the boy, but found that it was quite silly and intriguing. Looking back, I now am very appreciative of the boy whose earnst got to me to read a book that is now becoming what looks to be a very cute and funny film.

Not only do I want to see this film and think others should as well, the moral of this little tale is to appreciate the times we spend with other people whether we know them or not. It was 2 hours of fun, with a kid that helped me open my eyes just a little bit more.
